We lost five in a row at one point. Back then it seemed like a disaster, but looking at it now, it's a blessing in disguise because we're battle-tested. Our overall record doesn't show it, but our conference record shows that we got better.

I'll never sacrifice discipline to get a win because I don't think high school basketball is that important. I just care about the kids too much to sacrifice that.
