The deal fits Nokia's strategy hand-in-glove.

It is expected that the production would move to Eastern Europe or China, as the growth is there. In this sector the price competition from Chinese manufacturers is fierce.

I'm very happy about the UMA phone. I believe it's in the operators' interest.

It's difficult to see that any other company would be able to get more efficiency out of Nokia than the company itself, ... The markets and products are so different (for the two companies) that it's difficult to see any possible synergy benefits.
