We didn't settle for the 3. We worked the ball a little more. The worst thing you can do against Kamehameha is one shot and done.

Not to be a martyr, I have an extremely talented team. I can't get them to play at a higher level. Either I need to get them to play better or they need to find someone else. Not to take anything away from Kamehameha, and I'm not mad at our kids. We have to regroup and face a tough Saint Louis team tomorrow.

We had our chances to win it, if we knocked down some free throws and made some better decisions. It was a fun game for everybody; they just made one more play than us.

I did some research, and 35 percent of their points come from the line. So we played behind the posts. We didn't try to fight to get over the top. We didn't want cheap fouls.

I'm extremely disappointed. I'm proud of the way our program runs and the way our kids represent the school, but there's some differences with the administration with the way I conduct business.

We've beaten teams by 50 points, a bunch of teams by 30, but we didn't even come close to the intensity level we played with tonight.

The facilities are great, the kids are great, but there's an underlying pressure that's there and nobody talks about it. That's the way it is, and it sucks. We all want to win, but the kids and the relationships are why we do this. If it's the winning that drives us, I don't want to be part of it.
