That was such a motivating factor for me because, inside, I didn't feel like I earned it. I promised myself I was going to get to state. It started right when we got back from Bakersfield last year.

You are always trying to do what is best for the team, not just yourself. If you have a chance to get that pin, you go for it. You want to make sure you get the win, but you also want to do what you can to help the team.

The whole team is on a mental high right now. We're all looking forward to the chance of repeating and getting another ring. The fact that we did better than last year is incredible. But we still have a week of work ahead of us and we're going to have to prepare.
