'Germ' is playing real well right now, he really is. He looks like one of those Germans of 'Saving Private Ryan,' so I call him 'Germ.' He's playing like the man we thought he was. He has his switchback out and his bear-hunting license again.

He's been battling through a bad back. His lower back has been hurting him for a few weeks. He played like he's been off for a few weeks. Still, when it mattered, he stepped forward and played like the player he's been all year for us. He's had a tremendous year.

Both teams fought pretty hard. We came out on the losing end. We've got a lot of things we need to fix as coaches and as a team. That's going to be our priority next week.

That's a tough first-round game. The kids did a good job defensively.

I'll be glad when he gets his driver's license so he'll have more things to do than shoot baskets.

Alex really took it to heart. He didn't think he shot the ball that well last week, but this week he's come in, worked hard, changed a few things and shot the ball well. It's paid off. But a lot of it is confidence.

It's all on the kids. Their effort, their attitude, their desire was just tremendous tonight. They didn't stop believing in each other and for us to come out and win like this - it's a big win.

They came out and executed a few things and we had a few miscues. Our kids came out and put up a fight. We just came up a little short.
