Isaiah came in and stepped up to hit a couple of tough shots when the game got tight in the second quarter. We rotated him and Smith in there and both gave us good production.

I thought Daniel and Austin did a real good job all game on the perimeter. We did a good job closing out on their shooters most of the night. (Hamilton Co.) does so many things that you have to adjust. Sometimes you get lost, and we messed up a couple of times, but we played well on defense overall.

We shot the ball well from the outside and we got good transition baskets, too. We just had a little different attitude out there tonight and we got a win on Senior Night which is what we wanted.

They were both still a little queasy, but we need them out there. That caused us to miss some threes I think we can make.

It was good to see the seniors come out and just play well. There was a nice crowd and the guys played well. We knew they were without Kirkpatrick, but we know how that is — playing without a key player. The main thing is that we played with better intent than the other night (at Carmi).

We wanted to go out and attack them, and I thought we did, we just didn't get a break. We thought we could get some fouls called if we attacked, but we didn't and they did. That's part of the game and how things go sometimes.

The big thing he did was penetrate the baseline. He got some easy baskets and it made them play us a little differently. He had a big night.

There are a lot of circumstances in a ballgame, but the big thing was we just didn't shoot the ball very well. And when you can't put the ball in the hole you can't win.
