He's struggled a little bit with the bat. But over the last seven games, he's raised his average over 100 points and that's when it counts - in district. He's really stepped it up in district, and that's what I expected from him.

Justin understands the game and he understands pitching. I can look at him when he's out on the mound and he understands what I'm trying to tell him. He's learned a lot from last year.

He's the ultimate utility player. Due to some circumstances that came up, he's our starting shortstop now. He did an excellent job last weekend at Franklin Parish. He has decent footwork and he has the arm strength to make a play when we need it.
