These events will contribute to acknowledge the presence of the Italian club on campus. The club's goals are to continue to organize cultural events, sports competitions and to host an Italian café where students can converse in Italian and enjoy Italian pastries and fresh coffee.

I have organized many events and courses that follow this goal, and the CDRR has been very gracious and supportive of these attempts. Due to my personal background, I was especially driven to help the club with the series of events specifically coordinated for the National Italian Heritage Month.

Thanks to the NIAF grant and the energy of the members of the Italian club, it is our intention to continue to host similar events during this special month dedicated to Italians in the United States.
