We know they're considered to be basically the best D-III team in the section even thought they're not the No. 1 seed. It's an opportunity for our kids to go out and prove that they can play with anybody. We feel like when we bring our A-game, that we can step on the court and we can be competitive with anybody we play against.

We were very focused and we were able to do some things we wanted to do. It was a nice way to start the tournament.

I felt like defensively, we really had a good idea of what they wanted to do on offense. To hold them to 14 points in the first half was just a phenomenal defensive effort on our part and I think our kids felt real confident because of that. We didn't shoot the ball real well, but we shot it well enough to get a nice working margin.

It was up-and-down, a pretty good tempo and we were able to open up a pretty good lead and maintain it.

It was a fast, fun, up-and-down game. Both teams shot very well. We were lucky to get out of there with a win.
