He was real close to his family, his friends and God. He just wanted to help people. He had a very caring attitude.

There's nothing we can do except what we've been doing for the past 23 years, and that's to wait.

We are going to have to relive this yet again. We've been going through this for the past 23 years, and it's very painful for us to rehash our memories of Steve and that day.

It is something we have to carry through for Steve. I have forgiven Mr. Hill for what he had done, but God is the one who has to judge. I do feel compassion for his family. It is two families brought together by tragedy.

It's not going to change anything. Steve will still be dead and is not coming back to us.

We are willing to see what the courts have to say. I want the Supreme Court to look at this case and make a judicial decision so others won't have to go through what we went through.

I will be there to represent Steve. I promised I would see it through to the end, and this is the final thing for Steve.
