"Gary Griffin", is an American theater director. Griffin grew up in Rockford, Illinois, where he graduated from East High School in 1978. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where he performed in several musicals and directed Hello, Dolly! (musical)/Hello Dolly for their Summer Theatre program. From there, he moved to Chicago, Illinois/Chicago, where he began his directing career in 1988.

I was facing some issues by the court saying I had other areas of constitutional duties and responsibilities. They were accusing me of not performing those duties. So, I was trying to redress my existing resources to accommodate all the responsibilities that I face as an elected official.

I'm thrilled. I always believed this was a Chicago show. We did the very first reading here in 2003. It's perfect that we're now coming home.

We are very optimistic about this season. We have a lot of seniors back and we are very athletic and quick this year. We have a tough schedule and will be tested early on, but we could compete for a district championship and make a run at state. That's our goal.

We knew we could move the ball on them but we just couldn't hold on to it. In the first half we didn't come out in our base (defense) because we thought we had to adjust to what they were doing.

We just have to work a lot harder right now. We played good ball at the start of the season, but since the Hanford High game have struggled.

Whether it takes two months or two weeks — whatever.
