Jarrett took it real because he didn't want to get beat by him. He knew he was flat and tired, but he is just focused right now and his head is screwed on and he's competitive.

I think this year everybody beat each other up. Sometimes you need to get 35 or 40 points.

If they make the state meet, it could be fun.

Our goal was to win a league title, coming out of nowhere because no one expected us to. Going to state is icing on the cake, and we're going to do the best that we can do.

Being that's it's the state meet, it's the first time for most of the girls. It was about getting the experience once.

We could run just as fast as we did last year if not faster. But we'll have to beat Cascade because they'll have everybody back, too. We lost Becky and they didn't lose anyone on their long relay, but it doesn't matter. We just have to get faster.
