If he was not taken seriously, all of the hours he spent on the radio would be meaningless. The public is not going to fall for a show business personality that doesn't have the political acumen.

It's a very, very potent form of communication. In a matter of minutes, literally, they can get a crowd to assemble some place within half an hour, of tens of thousands of people, simply by everybody text messaging five people.

When you get someone in a position like that where he is deliberately using his own initiative to alter the words of very experienced scientists, that is clearly going beyond the bounds of ethics, and certainly going beyond the bounds of his job description.

This isn't O.J. Simpson. There's no murder, no blood on anyone's hands. This has all been played out in the press, and now we're at the denouement, and it's pretty dull.
