"John Frederick "Fred" Dryer" (born July 6, 1946) is an American actor and former American football defensive end in the National Football League/National Football League (NFL). He played 13 years in the NFL, having played in 176 games, starting in 166, and recording 104 career sacks with the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams. He is the only NFL player to score two Safety (American football score)/safeties in one game.
