This stems from the governor's new A++ program and would enable more kids to take higher-level courses.

This would help those students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to be in these courses, and it will support them and monitor their progress.

We did pretty well. I think the fact that we reduced the number of students retained while our population increased is significant.

That means more kids have passed it before getting to 12th grade and don't have it hanging over their head right now.
