How can you maul for 61 pass plays?

We like what he's done to this offense. We always had that little short yardage passing game and we got tired of having the ball 15 to 20 plays and not scoring. We want big plays, and now we make big plays. I'm a pit bull, so I live to go for the throat.

My reaction was 'Wow,' just, 'Wow,' ... That's all you can say about it. When somebody says that, you just take it for what it's worth. I hope it made him feel better.

That was the first game where we checked plays [at the line] and they knew where we were going, what we were doing, ... They were in our playbook a little bit.

Sapp is the last of the great D-linemen. They don't make them like Sapp anymore, ... This should be his best opportunity to show what he's got.

It's like getting two fat boys in the ring, ... and whoever wins gets to eat.

He taught me a lesson, ... Never slow down.

We can't whine about nothing. We just got to grow up and stop whining and complaining about stuff, and make plays. I mean we got an offense that goes from No. 1 to not even ranked. I don't know, man. It's human nature to bitch and complain, but we've got to get over that.

She has now determined (Kirk) is competent to stand trial. That is not an issue.
