After a while our horn players dropped out and then Justin J. [Hampton] joined the group. After that, we started doing small house parties around Ann Arbor. There was even a time where we played the same house every Saturday for five weeks in a row.

Our band just started out as fun. Now we are more like a family. If one person isn't there, it just doesn't feel right.

We all had very musical upbringings. Everyone brings something to the table and everyone plays an equal role in making our music.
