I don't know why, but it seemed like we came out flat. We thought we had a good game plan coming in, and we thought we could move the ball up and down the field on them. For some reason we were just flat.

That fumble really killed us. That and injuries. You can only dress 18 guys in this league, and it seemed like we got everybody hurt tonight. We're banged up on the offensive line, and we'll just have to try to get some healthy guys in here to protect the quarterback.

Our goal is to score 100 points in every game. That's why we wanted Travis as our quarterback. He's a great leader, he's ready for the responsibility and I believe that he has the tools to make it at the next level.

We need to protect the quarterback better, and our quarterback has to make sure he gets his drops down and learns to step up in the pocket as the protection breaks down. We need to get rolling and have some success.

In practice, the team felt him, they believed in him, they just waited for him to get in the game and lead them. He demands respect when he's in there.

There was a warrior inside of him that came out.

I can honestly say this is one of those games where I can't wait to get on the field. Oscar (Davenport) has had another two weeks to improve and get in better shape, and he has more toys to play with.

It's not tough to get our guys ready this week. We already feel like this is a playoff game we can't afford to lose. We could easily be 2-1. We started the season against three of the toughest teams in the league. But we're not going to make excuses. I have challenged each player.

The team never gave up. Two road games have come down to the final play. It's great for the league -- just not for us.
