In the past, pitching wasn't our strength. [This season] is great. We're not having struggles of the past. Karla [Wilburn] is doing great after not pitching in a year.
I think it'll be a good series. We've faced good pitchers before and we did fine.
It's a lot of fun when we do string hits together. It's contagious. When one person does well, it seems to make everybody else do well as well.
We were more ready to play the second game. There wasn't any excuse for losing the first game.
It was my first time hitting in a long time, and I just tried to get out there and put the bat on the ball.
We're just trying to get people to come out and watch and Florida State will be an exciting game.
I came out and just did what I was supposed to, kept the walks down and I didn't give them anything they could take advantage of.
It's important to be loud and cheer on our teammates so we can feed off that going in to the game.
All in all, it's been a lot of fun, but you wish you could've done better.
