We have been seeing, in most cases, gas prices on the rise. Companies are having to drill deeper or locate new pockets to extract from. They pass that cost directly to consumers.

During winters, we always see stories, the tragedies of fires or carbon-monoxide poisonings. The devices can help save energy costs if combined with other things, like turning down the thermostat. But they need to be used correctly.

If you use a generator or even a gasoline or kerosene heater, most of them will give off carbon monoxide. It's the same thing with fire.

Anytime rates go down, it's definitely good news for consumers, especially since rates are still much higher than they were last year.
