We were unanimously ranked as the No. 1 seed by all five of the league representatives at the seeding meeting; this is uncommon for all the leagues to agree.
In all honesty we play better during the day; we're a 3 o'clock team and if it's not broken, don't fix it. We're happy to have this opportunity to represent our school and play here in front of our student body and our fans.
Kim organized our defense; she is exceptional at 1-on-1 defending, has great speed and is one of the best defenders in our league.
Chelsea defends and attacks well and is strong in the air. She has improved tremendously over the last two years and really links our team together.
After Meghan Wright scored that goal, the game changed again and we were able to reassert ourselves. Stockdale is strong in the air and if you don't neutralize that, you can see the results as they put us under pressure. I'm just glad we were able to withstand the pressure.
