We had opportunities to step up and make plays, and we didn't.
We've been around long enough to know that defense gives you a shot to win any game. We've done a pretty good job of almost demanding it from everyone else this year.
Last year, there were some nights we'd play defense, then some nights we would let our offense just do it.
Before, it was more of an individual deal. Sometimes we'd get beat and other guys wouldn't be there to help out. This year, everyone is watching out for each other.
I made sure I grabbed the ball the second time, turned and shot it as quick as I could.
It's going to be a special night in the Dome. It's going to be an emotional night, but special for us seniors.
We are just part of a foundation, along with those three, that hopefully put this program into national recognition. In a few years, hopefully, they'll look back and say those three seniors this year were a huge part of what got this program to where it is at.
To be down that whole game, to fight back with our backs against the wall on the road, and Benny hitting that shot, that was something you don't forget.
This game coming up is going to be fun. We're ready to go, and I think it's going to show.
