"Eric Steven Weddle" is an American football Safety (American football position)/safety for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Utah and was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was drafted by the Chargers in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft, and is considered to be one of the best safeties in the NFL. He has been named to the Pro Bowl three times, and has five time he has been honored as an All-Pro.
