In the last two years, we're seeing more and more communities saying, 'We just don't want to use the technology.

Our first concern is the general public doesn't even know these devices are in their car.

The issuance of traffic tickets is about revenue generation rather than safety. As far as we can tell, there has never been a correlation between traffic tickets and any sort of increase in safety.

Putting up cameras doesn't solve the problem. It just rewards the city for poor engineering.

All of these things reduce accidents, but they're being ignored because it's much easier to place a camera there and let the city profit from its mistakes.

I certainly don't consider it a safety improvement when you have more of one type of accident and less of another.
