[Moulds' mother, who lives in his house, and other family members were among the thousands who fled the region as Katrina moved inland.] When they tell you not to go outside and to evacuate, people don't realize that your life is in your hands, ... When you can see the winds actually pick up a car, you can understand how strong those 145 mph winds are.

I feel great. I got the wind knocked out of me, took a shot in ribs, but the next day I felt pretty good.

I told him if I do that in a game, I'll owe him $10 a day until the season is over. It's better it happened in practice than a game when there would be 70,000 boos.

We never got our running game, our passing game or anything else going.

I think he was getting so much pressure . . . he was trying to rush his throws a little bit. He was missing guys on certain plays.

It goes hand in hand, the running game and the passing game. You try to utilize the running game all the time, but there has to be a point where we're able to pass the football and make plays in the passing game.

He's seeing a lot of different things right now, and it's understandable for a young quarterback (to struggle), but we have to be able to make plays, whether we take shots up the field or do something different to get him in a rhythm.

It's tough, but I understand that J.P. is young and he's going to have his bumps on the road.

I don't want to second-guess what they wanted to do, but at some point, we have to be able to take shots down the field.
