I feel like we made some mistakes at the end but my kids worked really hard. To be up 10 with two minutes left in the game, I felt like it slipped away.
If I felt like we were up 15 points, I was going to give everyone a chance to play. Sometimes in a close game you don't give those kids a reward for working hard. I wanted to give them that chance.
It shouldn't have come down to that. But I give my guys credit for not laying down.
That definitely gave us momentum. It put us up two points at a time when we really needed it.
I was telling him to penetrate and attack the basket. I really jumped his butt, but once he attacked the basket he was able to score some points.
I'm just glad we played well tonight. Everyone is understanding their role. We're starting to lift our play with our defense.
I have to give our kids credit for bowing up and making the play there at the end.
To have a two or three game lead going into the last few games is a great feeling. This was a big game for us to keep that cushion on those teams in fifth place.
They are pretty good. Everybody there contributes and every time someone different is going to step up.
