It was a huge blow not having Fabian in the scoring, but his health is more important than results. He has adjusted his medications and should be ready for tomorrow. I feel the men are skiing super consistent, finishing only seconds behind each other. Only having three skiers makes it difficult and really affects our team scores, but we are going to continue to ski strong.

The women had another solid day of racing. There have been a few new recruits from other schools coming into the mix, making it even more competitive. Nicole was our strongest skier today and it was good to have Linda back from illness.

The competition is pretty fierce with everyone gearing up for the NCAA Championships. The conditions were less than ideal, but we are optimistic for tomorrow.

It was very exiting to see Scoot win the MVP. He has skied strong all season and is well deserving of the honor. The men had some troubles but overall look really good, which is great to see late in the season.

I'm very excited that Wendy approached me about coaching at Utah. She has an outstanding personality, a strong will and a great sense of sportsmanship. Besides being a solid character and a two-time Olympian, she is also a local. Having Wendy on board will be a great for our program.

Wendy is coming to Utah straight from international racing. Her experience of competing at a high level and her experience as a female role model in the sport will be invaluable.
