And right now we need to spend all our time reaching consensus on how to rebuild our infrastructure, bring our people back home and offer incentives to businesses to get them up and running.

If people vote to get rid of this, they're only going to pay more later, ... We are putting ourselves at risk. It is that bad -- otherwise citizen legislators would not have voted for a tax increase. It doesn't help them to vote for a tax increase, but they saw a real danger.
