I'm really impressed with him.

I feel like they're pretty fresh. I don't see any mental wear or tear in them. They want to work. They've got their own goals and some of the team goals in mind.

I don't think the team goal has changed. I think there was some convincing. At first you're going to talk about it, but through success it becomes more believable. The kids start to feel like, wow, we're as good as the coaches have led us to believe.

He seems to have gotten a lot better. A lot of the things that we were working on with him were mental and technical. He's done a real nice job of doing what the coaches have asked him.

I think Clovis High next week will be our biggest challenge. They haven't been at full strength yet.

This weekend will tell us if we peaked at the right time or not.
