Stocks are not expensive. There's a lot of bad news the market has shouldered. I don't see inflation as a threat at all.

Tech has been hit hard this year, with the semiconductors down nearly 40 percent, so we've been seeing this rise recently. What's in question is whether this is just a much-deserved bounce after the weak performance, or if this is something more. It's not clear yet.

We've run into some pretty significant resistance.

I think we are probably overbought here, and there's going to be a pullback, although stocks should move higher through the end of the year.

The market has been in this range of 1,050 to about 1,170 on the S&P for a while, and it's feeling like we're going to break out to the upside at some point, certainly by the end of the year. But we're still in the middle of it right now.

We're calling it a reverse conundrum. Markets are looking at growth as a bad thing, but if growth is too slow that's bad too.

There's a lack of catalysts today, and so we're trending downward. I think the market has discounted a lot of the bad news, but there are still some day-to-day fears about interest rates, about the presidential election or about terrorism.

We are sort of due for a little bit of a digestion. When you run a marathon you have to rest a little bit. Ultimately the market will head a little higher.

Stocks are not expensive. There's no reason to believe we can't go higher. I don't see inflation as a threat at all.
