I told the kids going into the sixth, ' You got to wreck it here. She's got a perfect game right now. There hasn't been any to reach [base].

She (Hutchins) kept us off balance. We didn't hit the good pitches when she threw them. Then, after that, were behind in the count, chasing. That's what every pitcher wants. Tonight, we gave her that luxury.

We did a great job keeping the ball down and trying to keep it away from their hitters. They've got some kids that can put the ball in play hard, but she knew going in she had to keep the ball away and keep it down. For the most part, she did that.

I thought we played with a lot of confidence. We executed well and did what we needed to do to stay on top and out of the loser's bracket.

A bunch of practice isn't going to be the deciding factor. Our kids need to go home, enjoy the time, go to church and pray and come back on Monday ready to play ball.

As it started to get a little bit cooler in the night, a little bit further in the game, [Bond] went down. The defense had to play a little bit.

We have a lot of confidence in each other. We're at the point now that when we get runners at second and third with two outs, that's not a big deal. We're still going until there are three [outs].

Heber Springs was one of the better teams there, but luckily we matched up well with them.

Mandy has done a good job of being near the strike zone. She was throwing good enough pitches to get them to chase. Now, the detriment to us is when we have good opportunities to get outs, we hang a ball and they get a get a base hit and score two. That happened a couple of times tonight.
