The lead girl, Jaime Hite, who plays the oldest daughter, Anne, has a huge amount of lines. The older kids have a lot of lines, too, more than the younger ones.

They weren't a stuffy family at all. They were very well-rounded. The play deals with the issue of the father's death.

It's humorous and touching, too. And if you consider that it's set in 1924, you realize that kids really haven't changed a whole lot.

He had a lot of experience in college and high school productions but hasn't been in a show in 30 years. He's a doctor, so he went on to get involved with that whole life.
