We wanted to slow them down, to get them out of their offense a little bit. We're not going to play 'lights out' for 32 minutes, but this was just a good, steady 3A win.

This win could be a huge confidence builder. I really feel like we played 32 minutes tonight.

We didn't blink in the first quarter, and we're down 5-0. It was never really a game; we were blown out from the start.

We felt like the (University of New Mexico) Lobos, we just can't win on the road. Were playing a little better at home right now. To run with the best team in the district for three quarters and then you look up and you're down by 18 points? Wow.

It seemed like it was make-up call after make-up call. Man, just call the game.

It's frustrating to play hard and play well for three quarters and then freeze up in the fourth. I hate to use the word 'choke,' but we really need some guys who can penetrate and find gaps instead of just passing the ball around the perimeter looking for a 3-pointer.

I don't know what that was. Zone or man, it didn't seem to matter.

We found a way to scrap and win ugly. Two nights ago we were on fire, but tonight we had to earn some points. Our three seniors really stepped it up when we had an off night shooting.

We'll get there. Right now with district starting, it's like we're 0-0. We just need a good solid 32 minutes.
