That consistently is the most common objection or common opposition you see with a street-naming debate. I think it's the most vocal opposition. (Businesses) either fear the cost of changing their address or the loss of their traditional identity.

Businesses also get used to having their address as part of their identity. Their address is part of their economic identity in that it's how people find them. Having said that, it will be interesting to see if the opposition from business owners is enough to deter the proposal.
