What's amazing is that Ashley has only been diving for two years. It usually takes a lot longer to develop a national champion. And she was diving against 14- and 15-year-olds at the AAU Nationals.

You would think he was playing in his local club rather than (at) The Crucible. He used to chase after Steve Davis for his autograph as a lad. Steve might be running after Shaun the way he has played here!

Colleges all over the country are interested in 'Tiny,' ... Some of the best schools in country have been calling me already. My prediction is that even though she hasn't won an age-group national title, by the time she gets off to college she will be one of the top divers at NCAA level.

There are so many great teams in the Los Angeles area, ... After I retired (from UCLA) and got into coaching club diving, it was like starting from scratch. It's harder to get back on top now, the sport is so good.

There is a look and a grace and an elegance and a power that goes with diving, ... You can find power in a lot of kids and grace in some kids. But to find grace, power and beauty in the air is so very rare. Coaches from all across the country take one look at her and say, 'Oh, my god.'

The more volunteers we have, the better service we can provide to all our veterans who need transportation to the Indianapolis VA for appointments and treatment.

Ashley is the first national diving champion from San Diego County since Greg Louganis in 1976.

From the first moment I saw her, I thought she was the best I've ever seen, ... I've been coaching for over 33 years and been involved in the sport for well over 40 years and I've never seen anybody better at this age. I think she'll do for the sport what Louganis did.

This is the best group since I've been here. They're all young, and they all want to do well.
