"Wardell Stephen "Dell" Curry" is a retired American professional basketball player who received his education from Fort Defiance High School and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University/Virginia Tech.

Curry played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1986 until 2002. He now works as a commentator, alongside Steve Martin, on Charlotte Hornets television broadcasts. He retired as the Charlotte Hornets' all-time leader in points (9,839) and three-point field goals made (929).

He is the father of Stephen Curry (basketball)/Stephen Curry, a professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors, and Seth Curry, a professional basketball player for the Erie Bayhawks.
