This is in no way an ideal solution to implement, but it does address the problem of overcrowding.

There are significant building improvements that will need to be made to accommodate the growth at the school. With the use of some creative strategies that can be implemented right away, we could eliminate some construction if we do the study sooner rather than later.

This boundary study is going to be horrible. We knew the building would eventually be over capacity, but not to this extent.

It's a real win-win. It's a win for the county because they'll have land for parks, affordable housing and whatever else. It's a win for the school system because we'll have more money for school construction and renovation.

Assuming everything goes smoothly, the deal will be struck pretty soon.

If the numbers play out the way we think they're going to play out, we may never build a middle school.
