Part of it was we knew Ty pretty well, but part of it was it was we had an exceptional game.

I think if it is Garcia, having practiced against him every day would help a lot, but I wouldn't go into the game expecting seven turnovers just because you know the guy. It works both ways. We know him, but he knows us from practicing against us. We both do film study. It will come down to who is more prepared and who executes better.

He made a great throw, ... He did kind of catch me napping.

If we lose, you're going to see me sleeping in front of my locker. When you're No. 1, everybody wants to knock you off. It's not just the Notre Dame guys.

We had a great game plan. The defensive line had great pressure, and we were able to take advantage of it. I think toward the end of the game Ty got frustrated and made some bad throws he wouldn't normally make. We were in the right place at the right time.

Maybe some teams would have given up, but they fought and were able to get back in the game. It's really a lesson both ways. If you're down, you know there's always a chance until the clock reads triple zeros. If you're ahead, don't let up.

He's a young guy. We've got to go out there and make things difficult for him, ... If our defensive line can get in his face, I think that's going to make things hard for him.

No packages so far. I'm feeling pretty good, too.

I think it's a perfect example of us packing it in too early and thinking we had the game won.
