That's why he's one of the best players in the world.

The last two games we've really buckled down and prevented more shots than we've been used to the past couple of months. That's nice to see the guys coming back and helping out.

There's probably a reason behind it somewhere. Whether it's the ice or whatever, we don't know. We do know the ice is pretty bad at Glendale right now and it's tough to move around out there. You get on the ice and your skates sink right in. Even I, over the last couple of practices, have noticed my groins are working a little bit harder than they had been at the beginning of camp.

Every goal they got was a bad bounce for us. Off a stick, off of pads, off a skate. It was unbelievable. When you're not playing the way you should the bad bounces go against you.

I believe I'm ready to take the next step and develop at the NHL level. There are two (goaltending) spots on this team. I'm hopeful one is for me.
