We're a little bit skeptical. We've done a lot of borrowing in the last few years.

We are paying for it.

At a time when we're not making our pension payments, when the state's in debt at record levels, we're not sure the time is right to do more borrowing.

We met with him about six weeks ago and expressed some of our concerns (about the plan). We haven't had any talks about capital since they took keno off the table. There isn't much contact (with rank-and-file members) that we've heard of.

That's part of the problem here. We've got House Democrats who do what they're told and vote the way they're told (by their party leaders), instead of listening to their constituents.

This is about preventing a dangerous budget from passing, not getting (legislative) seats.

We're confident that we followed the law.

We think that keno is a non-starter. We think it puts gambling in areas where it's not already available.
