FameRank: 4

"David Booker" is an Australian artist who was born in Australia in 1954. He was educated in Sydney, Australia and Hobart, Tasmania. His first solo exhibition was in 1983, in the main foyer, central Railway Station, Sydney. Since then, he has continued to show his sculptures in collective and solo exhibitions, focusing on the integration of his themes in special architectural urban settings in Italian cities of art and in contemporary buildings.

Booker currently lives in Umbria, Italy.

The still-life pencil drawings on paper by David Booker portray boxes cartons and used packaging.

He found the cartons in the company of other cartons from the recycle rubbish dump for cartons.

Boxes and cartons are depicted simply in their seen perspective, as they are in real life.

The cartons are grouped together in different positions. And the same carton and cartons reappear in different drawings

to be seen in a different point of view. So that each carton is a single entity separate and independent, within its own journey.

This game had a great atmosphere. I'm glad we came out with a win. And I helped the team win.

Scoring all of those points doesn't matter. All that mattered to me was winning the game. Our guards set me up all night and kept getting me in position to score.

I am not looking at this game that way. It's an honor to get selected. I want to go out and win my last high school game in Mississippi.

We've had long layoffs earlier in the season. It didn't affect us then, and this won't either. I'm ready to play and bring a gold ball to Moss Point.

We knew they were going to sag on me, so coach (Brain) Brooks told our guards to hit some shots.

The record is an accomplishment that I'd never thought I'd have. I thought about it midway through the game, but the record doesn't mean as much as winning a state championship.

Breaking the record means I've accomplished something and won't be forgotten at Moss Point. I didn't think about record until mid-season when I had a shot at breaking it.
