We have a string of five straight nationals appearances and we want to continue that. All seven runners from the women's team are back and we are confident that we can be even better.

We're definitely still learning about the Big East, it's a very tough conference. Right now, I'd like to see our distance runners finish in the top half of the conference, but it's awfully early to tell just how difficult that's going to be.

We were still a little rusty, and with only a week's worth of practice, the timing and technique of some of the athletes was a little off. The running events went real well.

It was a good meet for us. It showed that we're starting to come around and the fact that we qualified so many people for the Big East showed that we're starting to get ready for the Championships.

Last year we went to a meet in N.Y. on the same course, so that will be a benefit to us. Otherwise, we won't really approach anything differently. We have a couple of big meets to prepare us for what it's going to be like at the BIG EAST meet.

We have a pretty young team and with this being our first year in the Big East, I believe we are doing very well.

There was good competition, but not great. This upcoming weekend we will have a lot more competition. It will be tough. This meet was good practice.

Every single one of our athletes has had a good summer of training. We will be ready to contend throughout the season. We don't want to go to the conference meet as C-USA champions with the same team we had last year and finish seventh or eighth at the conference meet.

The throwers had a good meet. The throwers are still working a lot on technique and a lot of the athletes are really young. There were several personal best performances, but a lot of them are still learning the event. That is going to take time.
