The ball was really coming out of his hand well. I don't think his arm strength is built up quite enough, but he said he had no pain. He just needs some more time on the mound. It was good to see him back out there.

Pitchers want to play for him (Reed). He's got a lot of experience and he's done a good job with the staff.

We were a couple of innings short of taking two out of three. But they're going back out there because they're our guys.

Our bullpen has thrown outstanding all year and unfortunately they picked two days not to throw well. We can't do all that work and then lose in the last inning. We've got to play for 27 outs.
