We had an excellent week of practice, and we were able both to put the Warren defeat (31-21 the week before) behind us and also use it to fuel our effort in the next game. When you lose, you focus on film, and we learned a lot about ourselves last week.

The field goal was probably the biggest play for Tyler. This was two high-caliber, top-25 teams. I love tough openers.

I think that was the biggest play of the game for us. It gave Tyler and the offense a lot of renewed confidence.

They stopped blitzing which had hurt us all night. They helped us on that final drive.

We didn't see our guys quit, which is a good sign, but we have to take advantage of opportunities better than we did today. We've got a tough game Friday against Glenbrook North, so we'll see if our kids bounce back.
