We needed superhuman goaltending and he certainly gave it to us. You're not going to win games as the underdog without goaltending like that. He was unfazed by the crowd and by the traffic in front of the net.
"Dave Burkholder" is a Canadian college ice hockey Coach (ice hockey)/coach. He has coached the Niagara Purple Eagles men's ice hockey/Niagara University program since 2001, taking over from Blaise MacDonald following the 2000–01 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season. Burkholder also previously served as the assistant general manager and assistant coach of the Niagara Falls Thunder of the Ontario Hockey League. Burkholder played college ice hockey as a goaltender with the RIT Tigers men's ice hockey/RIT Tigers, winning the Frozen Four#Division II/1983 Division II National Championship and being selected tournament MVP. He was a three-time ECAC First-Team All-Star and garnered all-American status in 1984.
