I didn't understand that. We've had problems with getting the ball to Elyse sometimes. She's a hot hand, but we seem to keep the ball away from her.

We fouled a lot and they made the free throws. I think (it) was over-aggressiveness. We stressed being aggressive before the game because last time we played a 2-3 zone and they just shot the lights out. Unfortunately, we fouled too much.

I don't know. We got in a panic mode. We can't have those kind of turnovers. They (the players) have to understand that when they're in a pressure situation they can't throw the ball around like this.

No matter how good she does, she keeps wanting to get better and wants others to do as well as her.

She'll be able to give Loyola a nice outside shot and a mid-range game. In college, that'll help. She has attributes that help her in the high school game that will also help her in college ball. She'll do whatever you ask her to do out there and she works very hard.

Tonight's game was kind of a wake-up call for us. The kids know we're going to come out focused, starting [today], and get back on track.

The effort was there. I wasn't disappointed with the effort, the heart the kids had. It's hard to tell the kids we're happy with the loss (but) the kids did all they could tonight for the most part.

I thought they played very good defense on us. They hit their free throws very well, especially in the first half.

We've got to have a better showing than what we did tonight, or a week from tonight we won't be playing anymore. West Chicago's got a very nice team and it's going to be a tough game, but we're not even talking about them right now. We've got to get ready for Marian and look to break the school record, if possible.
