It's our job to win and make her happy. No matter where we are, we feel that smile.
Bad things happen sometimes. I can't look back. I have to be proud of the year we had.
It's a typical 2-3. Their guards take a lot of chances. They go for steals a lot, so we've got to play smart. It's going to come down to making shots, because we know they're going to try and take away Roy. When you play Syracuse, you know you have to have a good shooting night. A lot of teams have been successful against their zone this year, and we just have to be one of those teams.
You just get that look. We know that look.
It all starts with taking away Dials. If we can force them to be a 3-point shooting team, and force them to take contested 3-pointers, our chances of success improve dramatically.
He's been there for us, and he's also been there for his wife. He's like Superman, in two places at one time. I can only imagine how hard it is for him. But we know if we win, we can take a lot of stress off him.
Everybody can score. A lot of teams have one player they look to go to down the stretch. A lot of teams have one player they look to run their offense through. With five or six guys almost scoring double figures, it shows the teamwork.
He makes it so much easier for us.
In the second half, it felt like we played an extra three games.
