We came out feeling that we were really improved.
The kids have really been getting after it in practice. They are really looking forward to Friday.
The key to the game for us will be blocking their blitzes. We're going to have to step it up on defense. Hopefully, we can get everything together. We need a confidence builder. Just going out and winning a game is what we need. You want to keep them positive. This week, hopefully, is the pay off for all their hard work.
Our defense needs to step up and stop them on a regular basis for us to win.
That was disheartening. We did prove we could do it without everybody out there.
It's just tough when you're playing a team like Bethany that has all 11 of their kids playing at a high level. We're going to get there, it's just going to be a matter of time.
They just pass it a little more than Perkins. We're going to have to stop their running game first. Football always comes down to being physical first.
I think it's important that you go out and win every game. This game is just as important as the rest. It's not a district game, but psychologically you want to go out and play good football. This game could really help the winner.
Aaron is going to help us a lot. He's an aggressive kind of guy. He's a young player, but at the same time, he'll always give you 100 percent.
