"Dane Edward Johnson" is a retired Major League Baseball pitcher and current coach. He played during three seasons at the major league level for the Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, and Oakland Athletics. He was drafted by the Blue Jays in the 2nd round of the 1984 Major League Baseball Draft/1984 amateur draft. Johnson played his first professional season with their Rookie league Medicine Hat Blue Jays in , and his last season with Triple-A affiliates of the Florida Marlins (Charlotte Knights) and Blue Jays (Syracuse SkyChiefs) in . In 1990 and 1991 he also ever played for CPBL's Brother Elephants and Mercuries Tigers.

Johnson was named the bullpen coach for the 2015 Blue Jays season, previously serving as a roving minor league baseball/minor league pitching instructor with the organization since 2004.
