It was nice to see a couple of our players come alive at the plate. We did a good job of hitting overall.

She had good movement and we couldn't get on top of her. But we left a lot of runners in scoring position.

We finally hit the ball (during the rally) and were able to score a few runs, but we can't expect to win games in the seventh inning.

Whitney did a good job of mixing things up. We have talked about that (wasting solid pitching performances). We have a good enough pitching staff to keep us in games. We have to start hitting the ball better.

Getting runs early continues to be a big part of the game for this team. It takes the pressure off the pitchers.

We talked about that. We needed to even that out. Getting three definitely helped.

They woke up in the second game. That was the difference between game one and two. They hit the ball in both games, we just hit it in the second.

We have been pretty steady on the road as well. This one was a little different because we were in Valley City last (Tuesday) night.

I thought both of our pitchers did a great job. They moved the ball around and kept their hitters off balance.
